Students learn the basics of the illustration process. This three to four day art workshop helps student put words and pictures together, from idea to layout to finished illustration.

A Writing & Illustrating Workshop for Grieving Children
A one or more session storytelling workshop for hospice bereavement centers and children dealing with primary losses. Clay reads Bear at the Beach, written after the death of her father, and shows students how imaginative storytelling helped her to creatively express and process her loss. Participants write and draw a simple book of their own experiences.
